The Latest

Well, time has slipped away from me this week!  On Tuesday I found myself in the car driving back from Singing in the Sun (Myrtle Beach, South Carolina) and didn’t get a chance to stop and up-load this post – I apologize for being late!  Anyway, our selection for this week will be a hymn that has recently been recorded by two of SGM’s top groups; the song is I Sing the Mighty Power, and the artists are the Hoppers and the Mark Trammell Quartet.  I look forward to seeing who is your favorite!  Remember to drop a note in the comments and tell us who you voted for!

Voted for MTQ! I liked there vocal arrangements and style better. Also their rendition of the song, musically and vocally, was a lot more powerful to me. I do like The Hoppers, too, Kim sings awesome soprano, but I just liked MTQ best. 🙂

Hey Carlie! Thanks for your vote! Both groups do an excellent job, don’t they? I find myself partial to MTQ’s version too, the orchestration is amazing!
    Blessings,
