If you’ve been listening to gospel radio lately, you have probably heard the popular song from the Whisnants called “He Can Move ThatD1003 Stone.”  This radio single has done really well for the trio and is proving to be a favorite in concert as well!  This month you can enter for a chance to win a copy of the CD that the Whisnants recorded it on!  Their 2013 release titled, That’s Why We’re Here.  This recording features eleven songs you’ll just fall in love with!

We are also going to add a bonus prize this month!  The Lesters are a popular trio from St. Louis, Missouri and when you see them in concert they tell about their unique “bus fund.”  They sell pens with the lyrics to the song “He Is” on them and keep the proceeds from those sales in a fund for their bus, so if something breaks, they’ll have the money to fix it.  This year Lynn’s Chronicles is supporting the bus fund whenever I see them in concert – so be looking for these pens in the next couple of give-a-ways!  If you’d like to support the bus fund – click HERE!  These pens make great gifts!

This give-a-way will begin Saturday May 3rd and will run through Sunday May 11th.  To enter for a chance to win, please leave a commentpen_1 on this post.  The comment can be about anything you like (just as long as it is appropriate for this site) but if you can’t think of anything to say, why don’t you share with us what you’re favorite song is from the Whisnants.  If you’re new to their music – tell us how you heard about this give-a-way!

Hi Lynn! I don’t have anything by the Whisnants yet and my birthday is the 14th of this month so winning this CD would be a great birthday gift!

Actually, in all seriousness I really don’t have anything by the Whisnants but I have met Jeff and Susan at NQC. I do have a funny story about Jeff Whisnant and my son Jeffrey from NQC 2012. My son has a form of autism but he loves Southern Gospel music and meeting Southern Gospel singers. He really loves getting pictures with them too. Well, on the last day of NQC 2012, I was in the restroom and Jeffrey was waiting for me. I heard the door open and then I heard my son excitedly exclaim “Jeff Whisnant!” My next thought was “Dear Lord, don’t let Jeffrey ask him for a picture in the restroom!” Fortunately he didn’t, but it wouldn’t have surprised me if he had and I was worried there for a second that he would!

Favorite Whisnant song? That’s a toughie! I honestly don’t know! But I love them! And they were SO nice when I got to meet them… I’m hoping for a Whisnant/Taylors crossover album at some point! 😉
