Monday evening, Lauren Talley joined Rick Cameron in doing play-by-play commentary for the Mercer men’s basketball game. She also sang the national anthem before the game. Lauren told the Mercer News, “I do emcee work and announcing for concert events on occasion, but this is my first time to do something sports-related. I hope everyone will tune into the broadcast to hear a newbie have a go at it alongside a veteran (sports announcer).”
On Tuesday, Kim Hopper’s mom started a new chapter in life by remarrying. Congratulate Carolyn and Harvey Stophel!
The Whisnants said goodbye to their longtime furry travel buddy TBear on Tuesday. Susan posted on Facebook, “We got him when he was 6 weeks old….Yesterday was his 14th birthday and today we had to say goodbye!”
Also, early in the week songwriter Kristi Fitzwater signed an Exclusive Writer’s Agreement with Chris White Music (Crossroads). Congratulations, Kristi!
Thursday, Gerald Wolfe (Greater Vision) had a medical procedure done concerning the tightness and hoarseness he’s been experiencing for the last ten years. Fans were asked to pray for the procedure and so far, Gerald’s doing well! Continue to pray for possible side effects that may occur in the next few days.
Friday, the Mark Trammell Quartet had some equipment stolen out of their bus bays while parked in Topeka. It is a very sad thing when someone steals from a ministry. May God restore what was wrongfully taken.
On a happier note, Matthew and Lindsey Holt welcomed a new addition to their family on Friday! Mary Mae Holt was born on November 15th at 8:35 AM. She was 7 lbs. 1 oz. and 20 inches long. The proud parents posted on Facebook, “We are so happy to introduce to you the newest member of our family, Mary Mae Holt!”
