On Monday, Ed O’Neal of the Dixie Melody Boys had a procedure done for Atrial Fibrillation and is recovering well.
Wednesday, Jonathan and Lynsey Talyor of the Taylors announced that they will be expecting their first child in March of 2020. Congratulations Jonathan and Lynsey!
Also on Wednesday, The Jay Stone Singers are hosting a fun “Album Title Contest” for the release of their new CD from September 19th – 26th. According to their Facebook Live, each day, a new hint will be posted on their Facebook and Instagram pages that feature a line from the 10 songs appearing on the album. On September 26th, there will be an opportunity to submit your guess on Facebook and Instagram. The first correct answer on each platform will receive a free CD. You might want to check that out!
Thursday, the Primitive Quartet announced that their homecoming event will be returning to Hominy Valley by popular demand! The dates are July 2 – 4, 2020, so be sure to mark your calendars! Reagan Riddle posted on Facebook saying, “I am personally very excited about hearing these old mountains ring again with the sound of banjos, mandolins, guitars and voices singing songs about our wonderful Lord Jesus.” Be looking for more details on the Primitive Quartet’s website soon!
