Happy New Year!  I have no idea if you are a “planner” or not, but I am!  And with a new year before us, well, there will be a lot of planning going on!  *wink*  So sit back, pour yourself a beverage, and let me tell you about some of the new things that I have planned for 2013 on this site!

The first thing that I’m excited to tell you about is a new series of posts, and well, you’re reading the first one right now!  For a while, I’ve thought about writing something akin to a newsletter – nothing fancy, just something that will let you know what will be coming up on this site for each month.  This “newsletter” (so to speak) will be posted during the first week of each month and will be categorized under the “TidBits” page.  So if you can’t find one of these posts on the homepage, you can find it there – TidBits!  The name of the month (example: “January” or “February”) will be in the title, that should also give ‘er away pretty easy!

So, what will be new on Lynn’s Chronicles in January?
There are a variety of posts in the works!  If your interest lies in CD Reviews – two will be up within a short period of time.  The Talley’s current CD, Love Won, will be the first – and Legacy Five’s Count Your Blessings project will follow.  This one features their new bass singer, Matt Fouch, and is an AWESOME recording!  I can’t wait to share it with ya’ll!  On the other hand, a new DVD review is ready to be up-loaded and a Book review is close behind!  But the post I’m looking forward to publishing the most, is a devotional on Greater Vision’s version of “There Is a River.”  Many will remember this song from GV’s It’s Just Like Heaven recording – one day I stumbled across a You Tube video of Gerald Wolfe singing that song back in the day and immediately fell in love with it!  Maybe that has something to do with a really cool verse in the book of Psalms that says, “There is a river,” too?  Hmmm…lots to think about!  There will also be more devotionals that feature songs from Greater Vision and Legacy Five coming – so if that’s your thing, keep your eyes peeled!

The Audio Page…
I’d like to introduce you to a new section on this site called the Audio page.  Once a month, I’ll share a sermon that has really impacted me.  You can listen to it right here on the site, and I hope they’ll bless you.  The first one is from a Bible Conference a group from my church went to in December of 2011.  The topic was “Hope,” and I hope you’ll take a listen to it!  It’s from a gentleman by the name of Joe Reese.  I’ve heard him speak many times over the years and find encouragment from his insight into Scripture.  You can listen to Hope HERE. 

Real News…
For the last three years, you could find my family at Legacy Five’s NYE Celebration on New Year’s Eve.  We were planning on attending this year too (2012-2013) – but we had a slight issue and weren‘t able to go…our house flooded!  (Not the best way to ring in the new year!  LOL)  So I’m very sad to announce that there will be no concert reviews on that event this year!  But on the up-side, we’re planning to attend a concert with the Perry’s on the 13th – so concert reviews are in the schedule!  But if you‘re in the mood to watch some great Gospel music now, I’d encourage you to check out the video page and browse through some of the new material there!  I have quite the collection of videos to publish on my You Tube channel – and I can’t wait for you to see them!  The quickest way to know when a new video is up, is to subscribe to my channel – and you can do that HERE.
